ACLU of Washington Comment on Close of Inquest into the Death of Charleena Lyles

“Charleena Lyles should be alive today, and would be, if not for a system that responds to crisis with violence instead of compassion. We are in solidarity with the Lyles family in their continued fight to stop police violence and increase accountability.”
