A federal lawsuit against the two psychologists who designed and implemented the CIA torture program is moving forward to trial. Judge Justin Quackenbush, in a written opinion, has denied the psychologists' motion to end the case. The ACLU brought the ground-breaking case on behalf of people tortured by the U.S. government to bring meaningful legal accountability, for the first time, to the men responsible for the brutal and illegal torture program. The jury trial will begin in Spokane on Sept.5 and will last 2-3 weeks.
