Did you know that a significant number of Muslims living in Spokane are refugees? The first refugees arrived in Spokane in the 1980s fleeing war in Bosnia & Herzegovina - victims of genocide. Currently Spokane is also home to refugees from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Come learn about their fascinating story and their faith. This program is one of our events celebrating Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month.
