Sharing our stories and building community for transgender rights. July 18, 2017, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Centilla Cultural Center at Plaza Roberto
Every day more trans and queer people of color become part of our communities in Washington state, often navigating between LGBTQ and POC spaces to live their most empowered truth. Historically, the QTPOC community has been at the forefront of challenging systemic injustices against both the LGBTQ and their extended POC community, but often have also been marginalized, erased and silenced.

This event will provide an opportunity for communities of color to come together to uplift the experiences of transgender and gender diverse people of color and share the existing work. The evening will feature a panel of transgender people of color, followed by a discussion on how we as a community can seek justice for transgender people. Dinner will be provided.
