The ACLU-WA is cosponsoring the 2016 Social Justice Film Festival. The festival showcases short and feature-length films related to social justice, with a special focus on justice for prisoners in the US. Themes include Black Lives Matter, Northwest Voices, Immigration, Worker Justice, Indigenous Voices, and Human Rights, Globalization, and International Conflict. Check out the full program below. Join us on Tuesday, October 18th for the screening of Here’s to Flint, the inside story of how local residents, journalists (including ACLU of Michigan’s Curt Guyette), and scientists organized to uncover the water contamination crisis that sparked a national debate.
