Let’s be relentless. Together. In the face of relentless threats to our civil rights and civil liberties, the ACLU of Washington has been working, together with community partners, and activists across the state to make Washington a firewall for freedom. We are more prepared than ever to meet today’s challenges and we invite you to learn more about how we can protect our hard-won rights and freedoms here in Washington state – together. 
 
 


 


At the ACLU-WA, we are working to:
  • tighten protections for those who seek, provide, and help others obtain reproductive and gender affirming care.
  • sustain and expand existing protections against mass deportation and immigration raids, and increase resources to immigrant communities.
  • curtail data sharing that enables abusive surveillance.
  • protect the rights of protesters and political dissidents.
  • increase state civil rights and antidiscrimination protections

These are our goals and this is our mission, regardless of who is in office.
