The Cascade PBS Ideas Festival brings together journalists, newsmakers, and innovators from around the country to talk about the issues that are animating our cultural conversations. The festival includes live recordings of television and podcasts from The Atlantic, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Vox, Slate, Pushkin, NPR and PBS; as well as community meetups, meet-and-greets, food trucks, DJs and more.

Current speakers include Malcolm Gladwell, Heather Cox Richardson, Lindy West, Nada Bshir, Celeste Headlee, Elahe Izadi, Naomi Fry, David Greene, Alexandra Schwartz, Sarah Isgur, Mo Elleithee, Martine Powers, Meagan Hatcher-Mays, David Rind and many more to be announced. Past speakers include Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, Deepak Chopra, Audie Cornish, Anthony Fauci, Nikole Hannah-Jones,  Jane Goodall, Macklemore, Judy Woodruff, Rick Steves, Matt Damon, Robert Gates and many more.
