On October 21, we gathered in community with supporters, partners, and staff for our annual celebration — and what a night it was! For the first time since the start of the pandemic, we were finally able to gather in person to celebrate our victories and recognize the important work being done by community members throughout the state to advance justice, equity, and inclusion.
The evening featured outstanding performances, including live music, poetry, and an inspiring conversation between ACLU-WA Executive Director Michele Storms and Edgar Villanueva, award-winning author of Decolonizing Wealth.
The theme for the evening, “Dwell in Possibility,” gave us an opportunity to reflect on our current world and imagine the ways in which we can create a brighter future in which everyone feels they belong.
