Flights & Rights is our regularly scheduled community series featuring important civil rights issues and great beverages. We continue to build community virtually, so grab your beverage of choice and meet us online or via phone.

Learn about the future of abortion in Washington with Dr. Erin Berry (Washington State Medical Director, Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai'i, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky), Kia Guarino (Executive Director, Pro-Choice Washington), Miranda Vargas (Board Member, Northwest Abortion Access Fund), and  Leah Rutman (Health Care and Liberty Counsel, ACLU-WA). Moderated by ACLU-WA Executive Director Michele Storms.

Overturning Roe v. Wade would devastate millions of lives, falling most quickly and heavily on the most marginalized among us: people of color, people struggling to make ends meet, young people, and undocumented immigrants. Washington state law will continue to protect abortion, but we must strategize to assure that everyone – including those who must rely on our state – can access the health care they need.  The ACLU will never stop advocating for bodily autonomy and freedom from forced pregnancy.

One of the best parts of Flights & Rights? Connecting with our community – and this includes beverage partners across the state! Without them, there would be no Flights with our Rights!
