Flights & Rights: Systemic Equality

Date:
Tuesday, July 27, 2021 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Location:
Online
Flights & Rights is our regularly scheduled community series featuring important civil rights issues and great bevereages. This month, we build community virtually, so grab your beverage of choice and meet us online or via phone.

Join the ACLU-WA for a conversation on our work to address America's legacy of racism and systemic discrimination, part of the national ACLU's nationwide Systemic Equality agenda.

ACLU-WA Executive Director Michele Storms moderates a conversation with our staff: Antoinette Davis (Senior Staff Attorney), Enoka Herat (Police Practices and Immigration Counsel), and Jaime Hawk (Legal Strategy Director, Campaign for Smart Justice).

One of the best parts of Flights & Rights? Connecting with our community – and this includes beverage partners across the state! Without them, there would be no Flights with our Rights! This time, we are partnering with Komadre Kombucha in Tacoma and roJo Juice in Seattle, until our discount tab runs out.

Visit Komadre Kombucha's Tacoma taproom for $5 off Friday 7/23 through Wednesday 7/28. Mention the ACLU to get 16-oz bottles for a buck, grumblers for $10, and growlers for $20.

Visit roJo at Corner Produce Pike Place Market on Tuesday 7/27 or Wednesday 7/28 for $5 off a selection of local pressed organic juices.
