Flights & Rights is our monthly community series in the KEXP Studios Gathering Space! In July we heard from Deputy Director Michele Storms who lead a discussion on police reform in Seattle and beyond with Deborah Jacobs of King County Office of Law Enforcement Oversight and Rev. Harriet Walden. Police accountability has always been at the heart of the ACLU's work, and the endemic killing of black people, including Charleena Lyles right here in Seattle, demands we push even harder and mobilize together to end the needless killing.
